We are looking for a People Operations Assistant to join our dynamic shared service centre in Cape Town.
This is a full-time role reportinginto the People Process Lead and works on a shift pattern of either earlier, core, or later hoursagreed on a monthly basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE The People Operations Assistant manages the day-to-day operations of an employee life cycle. Ensuring that all systems, processes and administrative work is completed with accuracy, efficiency and to stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities Being the first point of contact for employees and managers on transactional matters. Administrating the transactions for day-to-day employee requests and enquiries. Supporting and delivering a full range of administrative service. These include but are not limited to:issuing staff contracts, supporting with onboarding enquiries, probation review process, benefits information, staff data entry, staff changes to contract and employment, annual appraisal support etc. Workday (HRIS) admin. Either; previous experience of working as an HR administrator or co-ordinator or recently graduated in an HR discipline but able to learn fast and upskill at pace Experience of working with high volumes of transactional admin, ideally in an HR shared service centre. You are familiar with fastpaced volume and delivering againstSLA's whilst maintaining accuracy. You are ableto interact well with and provide good levels of stakeholder service to the business in a range of mediums from e-mail, to telephone and some face to face.
