Our client is in need of a Learning and Development Specialist who need to meet the requirements below:PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:Effectively deliver learning experiences in order to enable individual, team and business performance. Apply best practice learning methodologies to design, implement and facilitate Learning and Development (L&D) interventions. Responsible for all L&D related administration including co-ordination of training events and SETA administration. Fulfil all SDF requirements.AdministrationManage all training related administrationTraining records: capturing of all training registers and related documentsEstablish and maintain the training calendarInternal and External training interventions: coordination and administration of all internal and external training programs and conferencesFinancing and invoicing: liaison between suppliers and finance regarding invoices, deposits, accommodation, and cateringPreparation of monthly travel allowances for payrollSupport with all SETA administration: annual SETA submission, learner agreements, processing of claims and invoicesSkills and Equity Committee-related administration and supportCompile quarterly L&D newsletterSupport with annual retail roadshowsAdministrative support with GOLP and Learning PlansTraining Design, Facilitation, and DeliveryTake ownership for end-to-end learning experience to provide a positive learning experienceDesign and develop training programs, workshops, and learning materialsCreate and deliver learning events, interventions, and programmes aligned to business needsProactively explore training needs and design and adapt relevant training materialsEngage with relevant subject matter experts and other stakeholders to become proficient and keep up to date with any changes on the subject matterCustomise training content to suit audiences and address skills gapsHandle requests for external coursesAssist with sourcing and screening training providersManage and maintain training providersAdhere to organizational best practices and legislative requirementsProvide feedback to the relevant stakeholders on the content, implementation, uptake, and landing of learning events aligned to the desired learning outcomesReportingMonthly audit of training completed reportsL&D monthly reporting: training completed vs planned, training hours, training spend etcReport weekly to the Learning and Development Manager on trainings completed and upcoming trainingsCompile and ensure the integrity of and reporting on the company's training data that all corporate and statutory training requirements are metAssist with BBBEE reportingPrimary SDFActing as a contact person between the organisation and the SetaAdvising and supporting the Skills Development CommitteeServing as a resource with regard to all aspects of skills development within the sectorAdvising the organisation on the implementation of the WSPLinking the learning and development initiatives with the business strategy and statutory requirementsLiaise with the Sector Education and Training Authorities regarding the implementation and management of learnerships/apprenticeship/skills programmes, managing and mentoring learnershipsPartnershipDevelop strategic partnerships and relationships with external training providersEstablish a good relationship and manage stakeholders (internal clients – management, employees) and external clients – training providers, training centres who provide learnership and SETAsEffectively work within a collaborative HR Team environmentSkills & Knowledge RequiredRelevant degree (e.g., B Comm / HR Business / Psychology)Intermediate ExcelFunctional experience in HR and training developmentPrevious SETA experienceExperience in a retail organisation where responsibilities included Learning and Development activitiesDemonstrated ability to drive the learning and development initiatives across different organisational levelsUnderstanding of training design, development and deliveryFacilitation SkillsWorkplace Skills Plan & ATR submissionsPlanning and organising skillsCommunication skillsValid driver's license & own transportWillingness to travelPerks & BenefitsYou get to work for a rapidly expanding distributor with aspirational brandsGym & Shower facilitiesPersonal TrainerYogaPension FundMedical aid with Gap coverStaff Allocation (R10 000 Retail Value per annum)Staff discount (50% off for you and your family across all the brands within the group)Healthy Lunch subsidyCompany performance incentive schemeLong-service incentivesHolistic Employee Wellness programmeThe group prides itself in its effort to drive continuous employee engagement activities to enable a connected culture
