FUNCTION: OFFSHORE PEDESTAL CRANE OPERATORDISCPLINE: ENGINEERINGLOCATION: WORLDWIDEDURATION: CONTRACT (RENEWABLE)SALARY: MARKET RELATED______________________________________________________________________"TRS is looking for a STAGE 3 certified OFFSHORE PEDESTAL CRANE OPERATOR with cranes lifting 200 – 250 tons experience to join our International Client's Offshore project team based WORLDWIDE.
"JOB DESCRIPTION: Operates and takes care of the pedestal crane onboard offshore construction vessels.
Operate the vessel pedestal crane within the designed crane load capacity, in accordance with the derating tables applicable to existing weather and sea state conditions.
Perform basket transfers where permitted and safe to do so.
Hold the Offshore Crane Operator certification (level 2 for unsupervised inboard lifts; level 3 for unsupervised offshore lifts), except for junior crane operators under training, who are not permitted to perform unsupervised lifts until the appropriate certification is obtained.QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Accredited Degree / Diploma qualification.
Minimum 3 - 4 or more years of offshore experience as Offshore Pedestal Crane Operator Stage 3 Certificate Holding a IMCA Crane opt.
Logbook (or equivalent) Experience with cranes lifting 200 – 250 tons is preferrable.
