Position Overview (Automotive Logistics) The PDC (Parts Distribution Center) Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the automotive parts distribution center.
This role ensures efficient warehouse operations to support automotive logistics services.
The focus will be on inventory management, operational efficiency, team management, and customer service, delivering high-quality logistics solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Management Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Develop and optimize warehouse management procedures to meet company and industry standards.
Implement 5S principles to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Inventory Management Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Optimize stock levels to reduce costs and improve turnover rates.
Monitor inventory data and analyze demand forecasts to support order fulfillment.
Team Management Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and daily management of the warehouse team.
Develop work plans, assign tasks, and monitor progress.
Motivate team members to enhance efficiency and team cohesion.
Operational Optimization Continuously assess warehouse processes and tools, driving automation and digital improvements.
Analyze key operational metrics (e.g., throughput, on-time rates, error rates) and develop improvement plans.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
Customer Relationship Management Respond promptly to customer needs and feedback to ensure satisfaction.
Establish customer service standards and address operational issues and complaints.
Safety and Compliance Ensure warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular safety training and emergency drills.
Manage equipment and assets to minimize risk and losses.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
5 + years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably in the automotive industry.
Familiarity with PDC operations and automotive parts logistics is an advantage.
Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and office software (e.g., Excel, ERP).
Knowledge of logistics process optimization and inventory control methods.
Basic financial and cost control knowledge.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and coordination skills to manage multi-party relationships.
