Red Ember Recruitment is seeking to hire a Payroll Scheduling and Rostering Officer based at the client in Boksburg.
Reviewing and monitoring labour management effectiveness and Cost efficiency and deployment.
Analyzing and interpreting labour management trends.
Proposing recommendations on modifications and controls of management as appropriate.
Implementing recommendations and monitoring effectiveness.
Ensuring compliance with local statutory employment terms in both time and attendance systems.
Maintaining and controlling wage rules and shift patterns within approved parameters.
Auditing, monitoring, and reporting on compliance with the minimum standards of the company.
Must develop and set up processes and procedures to comply with standards where not present or refine/improve as needed.
Analyzing the attendance process and where not optimal provide recommendations for change/implementation advice.
Efficiently and effectively generation of reports from a variety of databases.
Regular reporting generation in line with weekly and monthly deadlines.
Ad hoc reports from multiple databases, as required.
Assisting in drafting labor forecasting in line with budgets.
Preparing and reviewing actual against budget per site Analyzing time and attendance.
Wage records and payroll data analyzing and comparing data on a variety of reports, designed to highlight labor inefficiencies and errors.
Comparing PRP reports over periods, tracking trends, and generating statistics.
Communicating results of analysis to relevant management including recommendations on corrective action and/or improvement.
Assisting in conducting monthly reviews of wage costs and performances as per Business Units/sites.
Ensuring timely capturing and control of decentralized contract schedules.
Ensuring that contract schedule requirements on PRP are maintained, liaising with sales and operations to maintain contract requirements.
Ensuring that PRP is updated and amended with new and lost business.
Updating contract requirements.
Ensuring the decentralized loading of sundry services onto the rostering system.
Ensuring Compliance with Policy and procedure in relation to PRP.
Maintaining administrative reports related ER database.
Auditing sites on PRP compliance initiating training on procedure and PRP for new and existing PRP administrators.
Management and control of the PRP Wage Management system Nationally Administration of all wage-related processes from the HR department, including new employees, terminations, resignation, salary structures and restructuring, leave planning and provisions, sick leave, allowances, and promotions nationally.
Drafting, planning, and carrying out in-house training on systems and procedures and induction of new employees relating to rosters and uniforms Drafting and implementing systems and procedures Structuring salary packages, and contract costs, escalations, downgrading, and financial implications for all.
Submission and drafting of all statistical data to the Managing Director about the overall operational running of guarding wages.
Monthly sales analysis, GP Manpower, escalations, and financial shortcomings.
Analyzing monthly financial reports about budgetary requirements.
Quarterly and monthly presentations on regional and national budgetary accomplishments.
Drafting of reports and maintaining records.
Attending and holding meetings as and when required.
Compiling and submitting tender documents, including costing and all other requirements.
Setup and implement new projects from start to handover e.g.
Online intelligence, PRP Roster, Uniform system.
Maintaining good client relations with a contracted client.
Investigating incidents and compiling reports.
Scheduling and managing staff.
Motivation and disciplining of staff.
Manage and control the roster wage management system.
Administration of all wage-related processes from the payroll department, including new employees, terminations, resignation, salary structures and restructuring, leave planning and provisions, sick leave, allowances, and promotions.
Administration of all sales - ad hoc or permanent- invoicing and reconciling turnover to wages.
Drafting, planning, and carrying out in-house training on systems and procedures and induction of new employees on the clocking system.
Drafting and implementing systems and procedures.
Structuring salary packages of security officers, and contract costs, escalations, downgrading, and financial implications.
Submission and drafting of all statistical data to the operations department.
Monthly sales analysis, GP Manpower, escalations, and monthly financial reports regarding budgetary requirements in terms of manpower.
PR calls, client complaints, processing, record keeping, etc.
Assisted the financial department in compiling budgets.
Drafting of reports and maintaining records.
Requirements Proven 10 years experience in a payroll role.
Training certificates and or qualifications in Payroll essential.
Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws.
Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
Familiarity with payroll software (SAGE 300).
Meticulous.
An analytical mind and good mathematical skills.
Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) Management and leadership skills.
Assertive.
