Drafting, facilitation and controlling of Standards, Procedures, Code of practices, documents and records with the respective matter experts and standards committees ensuring compliance to relevant OEM, legal and statutory requirements. Qualifications and experience:Grade 12National diploma in safety management or studying towards a national diploma.ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 54001 trainingMinimum experience of 5 years in SHEQ disciplinesMinimum experience of 10 Years' - Mine or Processing plantsBe familiar with different Acts e.g., MHSA (Not negotiable), Environmental, Industry specific legislative/ statutory/ regulatory requirements, Labour related Acts, Administrative Acts etc.Complete and comprehensive advanced computer literacyExtensive experience on the compilation of COP's, policies, procedures, and standardsMust have a valid drivers license and own transport.Duties and responsibilities:Drafting, facilitation and controlling of (not limited to) Procedures, COP's, process, documents/ forms, checklists, spreadsheets, Documents / Forms for relevant department.Monitor and assess the use of Standards, Procedures and documents/forms and report on findings of the relevance, changed requirements as circumstances/ legislation changes.Manage and Check compliance to SHERQ systems.Reporting and updating MHSC on SHERQ related issues.Determines the need for safety policies, procedures, and standards.Receiving and reviewing requests for amendmentsFacilitation of Standards Committee MeetingsCommunicate latest changes in controlled documentation, procedures, standards, and code of practicePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Good general health and requires a certificate of fitness. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and health and safety requirements.Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to various stakeholders.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. High aptitude toward analytical tasksDisplay a high level of strategic thinking, planning and problem-solving skills.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office packages.Salary R60 000.00 p/mPlease mail c.v. to ****** or ******
