Payroll Manager

Our client is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Calculate employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions accurately.Ensure timely processing of payroll, including regular and off-cycle payroll runs.Maintain payroll records and ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee queries related to payroll.Prepare and submit payroll tax reports and filings.Manage year-end processes, including issuing W-2s and other tax forms.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure alignment on payroll-related matters.Implement and maintain payroll systems and software.Provide reports and analysis on payroll data to management.Key Skills:Strong analytical and mathematical skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Extensive experience with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday).Demonstrated experience in managing payroll for a large organization.In-depth knowledge of payroll and tax regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management.Payroll certification (e.g., CPP, FPC) is preferred.
