Payroll / Hr Clerk

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to
join our dynamic team in Durban. The Payroll / HR Clerk will be responsible for
ensuring that all employees within our organization are paid in an accurate and
timely manner.


Key Responsibilities Full payroll administration function includes
new employees, terminations, leave, benefits, adjustments, advances, all
deductions, loans etc Receive and capture timesheets. Monthly, weekly and
fortnightly payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate processing of
payroll transactions. Assist with all Payroll related queries. Liaise with the
NBCEI on any concerns / requests. Daily capturing of Overtime/Short time /
Unpaid days once approved by Management. Ensure Uniclox System and Timesheets
accurately match for all payment, deduction and leave types. Prepare payroll
related reports for approval and verification, fortnightly and monthly and
adhoc requests from Management Daily scanning of documents and filing in
relevant files Ensure staff list is updated daily Ensure calendar reminders are
set for all items that require renewals, terminations, updating or for
management to be advised or reminded. Perform any other reasonable work-related
tasks as assigned by management


Experience /Qualifications Must have minimum 3 years' experience working
as a HR / Payroll Clerk Must have worked on a Payroll system.(Sage Pastel)
Matric / Grade 12 with a Certificate in Payroll / Human Resources or a related
field Must have skills in clocking systems and time and attendance
