Participates as an engaged member of the payroll hub team.Location:Johannesburg - Adcorp PlaceContract Type:PermanentMinimum Requirements:Experience:At least 3 - 4 years of experience in Employee benefits administration, directly with funds, managing monthly billingExperience liaising and managing processes with 3rd party Vendors / Service ProvidersExperience in payroll compliance, tax reporting, and regulatory complianceBasic Project management experienceEducation:Diploma in Payroll & Tax administration, Finance Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.Professional certifications in Employee Benefits, (CCP, CBP or related fields e.g. FAIS RE05)Roles and Responsibilities:Ensure that any calls received are answered within 3 rings.Ensure the correct onboarding and offboarding of employee benefits in payroll systems, payroll linking of codes in payroll.Ensure payroll operations comply with relevant Policies, laws, regulations, and service level agreements.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation changes and implement necessary adjustments in payroll processes.Handle Employee Benefits staff enquiries; supporting business to resolve payslip enquiries and discrepancies promptly.Work closely with Payroll Compliance administrators and Payroll Administrators to ensure monthly reconciliations pertaining to employee benefits are correct; discrepancies are investigated to ensure correct deductions and contributions on the payroll.Manage employee benefits programs including medical aid, pension schemes, and other company-specific benefits and Value-Added Services.Assist employees with benefits enrolment and changes, providing clear and accurate information.Liaise with benefits providers to ensure correct Billing and smooth operations.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of benefits programs and recommend improvements.Facilitate monthly meetings with all Service Providers to ensure healthy relationships are built.Clearly communicate and escalate any issues to the Compliance Manager and payroll Head.Ensure increases are managed with Payroll Systems and Payroll Manager to confirm correct deductions.Support and promote employee wellbeing initiatives within the company.Collaborate with Service Providers, HR and other departments to design and implement wellbeing programs.Organise workshops, seminars, and other activities aimed at improving employee health and wellbeing.Provide resources and support for employees seeking assistance with wellbeing matters.Investigate new opportunities to improve and support business objectives pertaining to Wellbeing of employees.Administer and manage monthly billing and deductions on payroll if applicable.Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and benefits records.Ensure all employee information is kept confidential and secure.Prepare monthly Employee Benefits Report for Payroll reporting deck, indicating total contributors for each fund and Value-Added Services.Work methodically to build archive of all enquiries and instructions to report on errors and improvements.Ensure monthly meetings with Payroll Compliance manager, Payroll Head, HR and Divisional Regional Managers, Finance to ensure benefit alignment and reconciliation matters.Communicate effectively with HR/Employees, assisting with query management and providing guidance on payroll and benefits matters.About usWe'd like to help you find your best fit!
