Job Overview – Payroll Consultant (fixed term contract 3-6 months):
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Consultant to oversee and manage the payroll processes on SAP. The ideal candidate will provide guidance to payroll administrators, ensuring efficient and accurate payroll operations. In addition, the Payroll Consultant will be responsible for aligning payroll processes with accounting principles, particularly Payroll Accounting, to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage payroll operations using SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Provide direction and supervision to a team of payroll administrators.
Review payroll entries for accuracy, ensuring correct salary, bonus, tax, and deduction calculations.
Ensure all payroll processing deadlines are met and coordinate the timely payment of employees.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll-related queries.
Collaborate with the Finance and HR departments to ensure accurate payroll accounting entries and reporting.
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
Maintain payroll data integrity within the SAP system.
Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
Monitor and prepare payroll reports for management review.
Assist with payroll audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
Stay updated with SAP payroll modules, tax regulations, and employment regulations.

Qualifications and knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing on SAP.
Strong experience in Payroll Accounting and familiarity with payroll tax regulations.
Proven experience in managing and supervising payroll teams.
In-depth understanding of SAP payroll modules and their integration with other SAP modules.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll-related software (SAP).

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Payroll or SAP Payroll Administration.
Experience with payroll process automation.

Job Type: TemporaryContract length: 3 months
Pay: From R300000,00 per year
