Payroll Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for maintaining payroll information including: Collating, calculating and entering data daily; Preparing reports which includes summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave and non-taxable wages; Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits including: Job title changes, promotions and demotions, exemptions, allowances, saving or deductions; Calculating payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes and calculating employers payments for sick leave, annual leave, family responsibility leave, unemployment and workers compensation; Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries; Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures; Perform administration tasks and any ad-hoc tasks assigned. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Grade 12 Relevant Certificate/Diploma in Bookkeeping / Accounting will be advantageous. VIP and Farm Costing Solutions working knowledge. Microsoft Office working knowledge. Minimum of 3 years working experience in similar position.
