Payroll Administrator

Our Client in the freight and container transport industry is seeking a detail-orientated and organized Payroll Administrator to manage and process payroll for our employees.
In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely compensation while maintaining compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities: Processing of payrolls (Sage Pastel Payroll) Checking the accuracy of processed payrolls Generate and compile payroll reports to check, compare and analyse financial data Updating and maintaining payroll information Calculation of commission and overtime Processing and issuing UIF related forms to employees Resolving payroll discrepancies and assisting with payroll queries Ensuring processing is in accordance with company policies and procedur Experience Minimum of 3 years experience operating as a payroll clerk / administrator Practical experience working on Sage Pastel Payroll Sage Pastel Payroll courses (advantageous) Practical experience processing financials for NBCRFLI employees on Pastel Payroll Matric certificate Good all-round knowledge and experience of general administrative duties Good understanding and practical experience with Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Excellent time management skills Good problem-solving skills Ability to work fast and efficiently Ability to work as a team Working times: 08:00 17:00
