Payroll Administrator - Kempton Park - Automotive SectorReference: Cen000297-E-3Duties & ResponsibilitiesFull payroll function for salaried staff 300 – 400 employees on Sage PremierProcessing of overtime, claims and commissions on Sage ESSMonthly recons of overtime, claims and commissionAccurate leave checking and control on Sage ESSHandling administration of clocking systemsCommunicate payroll changes or challenges to Supervisor/Manager on timeMaintain and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishee orders, taxes and other deductionsEnsure correct processing of leave and employee benefits and the maintenance of personal filesEnsures that all financial capturing and processing is done in accordance with company policies and proceduresEnsure accurate payroll updates, new employee engagement, terminations, job titles and changes to pay rates as well as monthly inputs receivedBi-Annual reconciliation and submission of EMP501 via E@syFileGenerating employee IRP5'sMonthly reconciliation and submission of PAYE/SDL/UIF EMP201's via E@syFileMonthly reconciliation and payment requests for 3rd party payments (Medical Aid/MIBCO/Unions etc.)Strong recon/submission and Mibco knowledgeApplying for tax directives and administering IT88'sSubmission of month-end and GL, salary journals etc. to Finance DepartmentExcellent excel, ODBC and VIP Premier/ESS system skillsEnsure compliance with all Industrial labour and tax regulationsExtensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, and internal controlsMaintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretionMaking sure all necessary documents and reports are processed on timeLeave management – payroll annual and month to month reconciliationsKeeping up to date with company policies as well strictly enforcing these policiesManaging payslip distribution on time to various branchesAssisting with payroll queries past and presentAssist with department auditsSet an example to team members for commitment, work ethic, good behaviour, honesty and positive mannerismsTo perform lawful tasks as and when required by Supervisor and ManagementAssisting with occasional HR Department and company related tasks, events and organisingRequirementsPayroll Diploma or similarMinimum 5-8 year's experience in Payroll positionGood knowledge and experience with MIBCOCode 08 licenseConfident and proactive approach – anticipates issues and requirementsAttention to detailStrong documentation skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlinesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail and be able to work independently and under pressurePackage & RemunerationR 25000 - R 27000 - Monthly plus medical Aid and Provident
