Payroll Administrator

Hello… an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our Group Services, Group Shared Services area.
 We are looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator.
Role Objectives: Responsible for the preparation and processing of inputs and outputs on payroll on the Sage 300 payroll system (This includes the entire cycle of payroll processing from capturing of new employees, leave, terminations, check and authorise claims and ensure accuracy).
Key Responsibilities: Preparation and Processing of inputs and outputs.
This includes New Hires, Transfers, Terminations and any Employee Life cycle activity relating to remuneration.
Company Cars and Petrol Card processing.
Monitor monthly variances Manage the payroll mailbox on a daily basis HR admin data integrity through exception reporting management (Id number, Banking details etc) Maintain employee records; ensure that employee changes are entered correctly and made in a timely manner and manage own area of control, with implementation of workable solutions for issues/problems to minimise escalations to management.
Generate the 3rd Party Schedules for distribution the last day of every month Calculate pro- rated salary and benefits Familiar with E-Filing and applying for tax directives.
Validate and Import MIS sheets and verify the accuracy of the data import.
Balance and upload all benefit changes Assist with Leave queries Monthly audit of leave encashments including reversals Responsible for coordination between payroll and human resources, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.
Liaise professionally with staff regarding pay queries Prepare all payments in a timely manner Keep abreast with company policies and tax legislations that impact on remuneration Adhere to the SLA's on Jira tickets Balance the Pension and Provident fund Schedules Generate advanced reports as and when requested by business Keep abreast with company policies and tax legislations that impact on remuneration Importing any bulk imports and verifying the process and content Liaise with Finance regarding the Salary Reconciliations Assist team with adhoc projects as and when required
