An exciting opportunity exists for a PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR at AVI LIMITED in our Financial Shared Services (FSS) Division in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
As the team's newest member, you will be responsible for an entire business unit including all associated activities to deliver a value-adding, cost-effective and customer-focused payroll service to the business and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Specification: Timely capturing of accurate information onto the SAP systemProcessing of payroll at best practice performance levelsTimely and accurate response to internal and external customer queriesReconciliations and auditsTimely and accurate employee payment processingAccurate processing of employee entitlements and statutory deductions e.g.
Tax, Pension, and Medical aid contributionsAssist with customer relations and management thereofMinimum Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 3 years full cycle payroll experience5 years of weekly wage experienceExperience working in a large complex payroll departmentExperience working in cross-functional teams, especially in an environment that includes extensive cooperation with human resources departmentsQualifications: Completed Matric/Grade 12Relevant tertiary qualification idealTechnical Competencies & Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of SAP Payroll SystemExposure to a Human Resources Administration systemIn-depth knowledge of all payroll-related taxes (PAYE, SITE, and VAT) and legislationBusiness acumen
