We're looking for a Payments Officer and Compliance Administrator to join our dynamic team.

Duties and Responsibilities Processing on the Investec CCM and Nedbank Corporate Saver Systems Execute all instructions received via email, telephone or direct Transact and Monitor transactions Make and Schedule payments Ensure all transaction received before 11am are processed the same day Foreign deposits/withdrawals and preparation of BOP forms Prepare BOP form and supporting compliance documentation for outgoing and incoming foreign exchange as required Liaise with the relevant Forex Dealers and Banks to finalise Record transactions and indicate where the client is to be charged Administrative Duties: Check and handle all emails, daily correspondence and telephonic enquiries Liaise with clients re general enquires, i.e.
requests for balances or printouts, etc.
Forward requested information and / or action previously documents instructions to client via email, WhatsApp etc.
Open new client accounts on the Investec CCM and Nedbank Corporate Saver Systems Update client profiles with updated information on the Investec CCM and Nedbank Corporate Saver Systems Print and compile daily transaction schedules and documents for partner sign off Meet with clients as required Assist clients with the completion of documents as necessary, e.g.
withdrawal forms Scanning, linked and filing of documents Assist with current and/or ongoing projects Record Keeping Action ad hoc requests Compliance / Mandates Check and ensure all compliance, FICA and relevant documents are in place for each client Assist clients with the completion of mandates and queries as necessary Ensure that the account mandates and FICA and various checks are in place for clients before opening new accounts.
Mandates and FICA documents needs to be signed off by the Manager before new accounts are opened.
All mandates are to be signed off by Key Individual Contact clients telephonically or via email if information is insufficient or documents are not compliant Forward mandates and documents to third parties (other financial institutions) as required with client's permission Utilising Adobe Sign to obtain electronic signatures on documents.
CRM System (Elite) and One-Drive Storage: Capture client information Scan and link documents to clients' records, i.e.
mandates, FICA, transactions, etc.
Link email correspondence Link recorded telephone calls Daily, Weekly & Monthly Procedures Print Audit Trails Do daily report recons Balance Money Market system to reports and working papers Send required reports to client Send reports to clients and referrers Ideal Candidate: Have Matric (essential) Additional experience in finance administration will be advantageous Be able to handle a fast-paced, pressured environment Have good communication and organisational skills Be accurate and confident in your work Be self-motivated and able to take initiative Be able to prioritise work Be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and One-Drive Be able to work as part of a highly successful team Please note: You must be based in Cape Town and legally allowed to work in South Africa.
