Payments AdministratorCape TownSummaryThe Payments Administrator plays a crucial role in processing payments for individual and corporate clients.
This position requires working closely with banking partners to ensure accurate and timely submissions of necessary documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong compliance and administrative focus, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while managing the risk of money laundering and terrorist financing through adherence to Exchange Control Rulings.Key Responsibilities    Completing BOP forms accurately and timeously.    Submitting supporting documentation to banking partners for payment processing.    Liaising with banking partners regarding payment queries related to beneficiary details and compliance.    Ensuring client documentation is filed correctly on various digital platforms.    Managing client queries relating to payments.    Allocating inward funds and supporting documentation.    Loading and verifying beneficiaries for payments.    Loading, verifying, and authorizing ZAR payments.    Performing other administrative duties as required.Challenges    Ensuring compliance with evolving legislation and regulations related to financial transactions.    Managing tight deadlines and high-volume transactions efficientlyQualifications and Skills    Matric and relevant diploma or degree.    Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative position within finance/banking.    Excellent computer skills.    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.    Good organizational and time management skills.    Excellent written and oral communication abilities.    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle difficult queries effectively.ExperienceMinimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role within finance or banking.Required SkillsCompliance knowledge, attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, adaptability, efficiency, multitasking, service orientation, problem-solving, documentation management, payment processing, customer service, teamwork, time management, relationship management, professional presentation
