City of Johannesburg Metropolitan MunicipalitySalary: ZAR 50000 - 200000Application Deadline: 4 days agoWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri: 8.00am - 4.00pm)Job Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Patients Property Store, ensuring that all patients' property is checked in on admission and out on discharge.
Records of all movements of patient property must be kept accurate and up-to-date on the hospital's database while ensuring that security directives are implemented at all times.Main Duties of the JobThe role will involve:Communicating with ward staff, patients, and other internal hospital departments.External communication to answer queries and resolve any issues, either face-to-face, via email, or telephone.Being physically fit to climb ladders and lift/move storage boxes.Utilizing I.T/computer skills; all other training will be provided.Driving to an offsite storage facility (full clean driving license required).Uniform will be provided.About UsWest London NHS Trust is one of the most diverse healthcare providers in the UK, delivering a range of mental health and physical healthcare and community services.

Please view as attached.Person SpecificationQualifications and TrainingBasic general education - pass trust literacy and numeracy tests.Driving license.Work towards level 2 apprenticeships.GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.ExperienceSound employment experience in a stores background.Practical background in Stores.Experience in an NHS setting or customer-focused environment.KnowledgeGeneral understanding of Health & Safety.Good understanding of stock control.Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety.Manual handling and customer care.Personal QualitiesAble to work without constant supervision and to agreed timescales.Well motivated with a flexible approach.Able to work as part of a team.Basic computer skills.Disclosure and Barring Service CheckThis post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such, it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.Salary: £28,166 a year Per Annum Inclusive of Allowances
