Pastry ChefThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following:The daily run and overseeing of all pastry and farm shop preparationsCreating innovative à la carte desserts, pastries, and confectionary for all necessary departmentsKitchen inventory and stock managementStaff managementWorking closely with all chefs in the run of the kitchenApplications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:Degree or diploma in culinary arts4 years' experience in a similar position1 years' experience in a senior roleAn extensive repertoire of pastry and confectionary techniques and trendsStrong leadership and communication skillsAble to function as part of a teamAble to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlinesWillingness to work on weekends and public holidaysOwn transport
