Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a passionate Pastry Chef De Partie for a top 5* Hotel based in Cape Town. This boutique hotel is seeking a team player who can work closely with the team to develop and perfect a variety of pastries.

Responsibilities will include: Working with the Sous Chef Pastry and Executive Chef to maintain high standards in the quality of food from preparation to presentation. Working in all areas of the kitchen as needed. Preparation of pastry items from the pastry section. Personal Traits/Skills: A passion for cooking and the ambition to further yourself and your skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Organisation skills - the ability to plan, coordinate, execute and follow up. Ability to work alone or in a team setting. Ability to multi-task. Exceptional time management skills. Knife skills. Good wine knowledge. This position is offering a salary of R12,000 - R13,000 with additional benefits and the opportunity to work for one of the top establishments in the Western Cape.
