Parts Manager (Lift Truck Company)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct management of the parts department. This includes accountability for inbound and outbound freight, as well as adherence to legislative, safety, and organizational policies and procedures. The Parts Manager will accomplish effective logistical oversight through strong leadership and decision-making skills. Exceed agreed / budgeted profit margins and increase market share through a well-developed and motivated parts teamResponsibilities:Maintaining strict control over inventory levels, by ensuring a high level of parts availability, to meet internal and external demand of product. Regular review of purchase price associated to OE and/or local suppliersAchieve an acceptable market share, through maximizing sales of parts to trade and distribution to customers.Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of governance, compliance, integrity, and ethics.Implement processes to identify, manage risks and expose liabilitiesSource, manage, identify and address customer needs by providing a variety of related parts, products and accessories, to enhance satisfaction and retention.Implement people resource planning in line with delivery, performance objectives, and budget.Managing the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, products, and local/international supplies that come in and out of the warehouses. Ensuring all orders are shipped to customers (internal and external) in a timely manner in adherence to delivery schedules.Communicating all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties (internal and external)Planning warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization. Considering full implications of freight turnover, size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space. Enforcing company policies regarding security and safety to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to make calculations such as discounts, freight estimates, dimensional weight, invoices, and percentages.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Autoline Experience.Ability to make decisions.Good knowledge of Parts Stock ordering and Controls.Please note only candidates with the required experience will be contacted and considered.
