Parts Manager

Main Purpose of JobThe successful candidate will have to ensure the profitability of the Parts Department.
The successful candidate will furthermore be responsible to ensure manufacturer and dealership targets are met.
Lastly the candidate would need to have strict control over inventory.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills RequiredGrade 12 certificateMinimum of 3 years' managerial experienceMinimum of 5 years' parts experienceExceptional communication skillsExceptional customer serviceClear criminal recordComputer LiterateKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor stock levels daily to ensure relevant manufacturer stock levels are maintained.Manage cash outstanding on a daily basis.Manage and actively clear out aged stock.Conduct stock takes on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly.Ensure Parts Sales Target and Profitability are met.Ensure Customer Satisfaction.Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies.Manage Team for High Performance Culture.To visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and shops to sell parts and accessoriesTo ensure all exchange items are returned.To ensure company discount structure is properly applied.To care for company property and ensure economic use e.g.
car/delivery van.
