Parts & Accessory Technical Support ConsultantMain Purpose of Job:To provide OEM Automotive Parts & Accessory (P&A) business operational support to the OEM dealership network in order to optimize customer experience, enhance parts service delivery, build relationships, drive sales, campaigns, and profitability.
Senior Certificate (Grade 12-Matric) is compulsory.A valid Driver's license.Preferred Qualification:Degree or Diploma in any Business Discipline.Parts OEM related courses and training.Knowledge & Experience:Motor Industry or related Parts Technical Experience at OEM or Dealer level is advantageous.Understanding of Motor Vehicle Components and Architecture.Excellent relationship and service delivery skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, teamwork, professional, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well under pressure.Proficiency in computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), grammar, and writing content.Special Conditions:Working hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00, but may vary from time to time.Strong relationship-building capabilities.High level of customer service orientation.Effective communication and teamwork.Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.Proficient in using Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC).Strong understanding of OEM Parts Policies & Procedures.Effective inventory and transaction risk management.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).Principal Areas of Accountability:Daily Business Operational Support:Provide parts and accessory support to the dealer network and parts wholesale customers.Assist dealerships with the preparation of quotes, including part number identification.Technical Assistance:Offer technical assistance and interpretation using the Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC).OEM Parts Policies & Procedures:Drive, adhere to, and implement OEM Parts Policies & Procedures.Order Management:Follow up with the factory or factory supply support personnel on orders, part number creation, and pricing.Inventory and Risk Management:Manage transaction risks and inventory, providing ETA updates on back-ordered parts as applicable.Customer Experience Optimization:Optimize customer experience, parts service delivery, build relationships, drive sales, campaigns, and profitability.Align with and drive Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) daily service level goals and operating plans.Campaigns and Promotions:Support dealer campaigns and promotions to improve sales.General Warehouse Support:Perform general ad hoc parts warehouse support functions.Please submit your application with your cv to ****** and reference the job title.
