We're looking for a Partnerships Manager to join our EMEA team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and drive Busbud's growth in one of our fastest-growing regions. You will be responsible for new sales and account management: working to grow our existing relationships with operator partners while pitching new partners on our vertically-integrated end-to-end value proposition.Who we are:Busbud is the largest online travel agency specialising in intercity bus and coach travel with the broadest global coverage. Our goal is to provide a more environmentally friendly, accessible and interconnected world for everyone.The role:The Partnerships Manager will be in charge of driving our growth in Southern and Eastern Africa. You will be our commercial lead in the region, responsible for working with our key partners to drive growth in revenue and ticket sales. You'll also be our go-to expert on the market, developing locally relevant brand marketing campaigns, and ensuring our product meets the needs of our users. No two days in this role are the same; we're looking for someone who is always thinking of new and innovative methods to drive growth, with a keen eye for what works locally.What you can expect from this opportunity:Work with our existing operator partners to identify strategic growth opportunities which are aligned to the local market.Draw insights for our operator partners from our vast amounts of data, positioning Busbud as their go-to trusted partner and advisor.Pitch, negotiate and close new operators on our vertically-integrated end-to-end value proposition which includes a SAAS product suite and our ground transport marketplace.Work with our marketing team to propose and execute locally-relevant marketing and brand initiatives, leading to growth in ticket sales in Southern and Eastern Africa.Work with our product team to ensure our product is locally relevant.Act as the liaison between our customer experience team and our operator partners to resolve customer issues.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.Minimum 5 years of experience working at the intersection of partnerships and growth. We're looking for someone who has experience growing digital products in Southern and Eastern Africa.Previous experience working in the mobility, transport, or travel industry is not a requirement, but is an advantage.Excited by the opportunity to play a major role in Busbud's growth in Southern and Eastern Africa.Comfortable working in a remote environment. You are an active communicator.Experience with SQL is a plus but not a requirement.This role will require travel in Southern and Eastern Africa (15%) with occasional international travel to Europe.Fluent in English. Swahili is an advantage.
