We're on the hunt for a dynamic individual to elevate our offerings and cater to our Key and HGHV (High Growth High Value) clients across the African continent, particularly in the Mining and Integrated Energy sectors. Your expertise will be pivotal in executing major Process and Functional Safety projects, shaping the trajectory of our business.
As a key player, you'll drive growth and revenue in this crucial domain, leveraging a robust pipeline of opportunities to make a substantial impact swiftly. Based in vibrant hubs like Johannesburg or Cape Town, or any other African countries where ERM operates (Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique, Ghana), you'll collaborate with a skilled team dedicated to excellence.
This role demands inspirational leadership, rallying all staff levels towards our environmental due diligence service offering and regional growth strategy. With a knack for strategic engagements at the C-suite level, you'll work to steer the business to success.
We seek a candidate who not only delivers but also nurtures client relationships, with a proven track record of originating sales in the safety services realm. Drawing from experience in specialized environmental and sustainability consultancies. Engineering firms or related industries, you'll capitalize on existing connections while forging new ones to drive our business forward. About you The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in managing and successfully delivering EHS audits, medium-complexity projects and specific deliverables on larger programs within budget and on time. They should excel in building, coaching and mentoring collaborative teams and thrive under pressure.
We will prioritize candidates who meet specific criteria:
Experience in Technical/Functional/Process Safety.Experience in the Mining and/or Oil & Gas sectors.Experience in Consulting.This Partner-level opportunity, ideal for a Principal/Director/VP-level EHS/Safety professional looking to further their career with an equity stake in a global company that leads the field in sustainability consulting.
Key responsibilities in the role involve developing and implementing business strategies and plans, achieving financial budgets, actively participating in business development and marketing activities, collaborating with partners and stakeholders to manage projects and drive business growth, delivering high-value projects within profitability targets, managing operational risks, and reporting team performance and development.
