About the Role Uber Eats is looking for an experienced data analyst who can collaborate with our local partner managers to improve the efficiency of their promotional strategies, drive operational excellence with scalable solutions to restaurant operations, and improve the health of the business by accelerating adoptions of new products. This role calls for a combination of stakeholder management, business strategy, operational excellence and problem solving. You should be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, love solving problems, thrive in a startup culture, and above all be passionate about food.
What You'll Do: Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth within key restaurant brands partnered with Uber Eats. Strategize: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize restaurant performance, including order fulfillment efficiency, menu optimization, and pricing strategies. Drive Key Bets: Be accountable for scaled and tech-touch advertising revenue and promotional spend, which contribute significantly to consumer growth and company profitability. Build Efficiencies: Optimize co-marketing campaigns and promotional budget usage to maximize growth for merchant partners and revenue for the platform. Experimentations: Gather analytical insight (incl. A/B testing) to evaluate different strategies on restaurant partner performance and optimize our promotional campaigns. Forecasting: Utilize statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to forecast demand and enhance overall restaurant efficiency. Project Management: Generate actionable insights and recommendations through comprehensive data analysis. Present findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Tools and Reporting: Design and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of growth initiatives over time. Collaboration: Work closely with various account management teams in SSA to gather data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational needs. What You'll Need: Analytics: Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel and SQL; Python is a nice to have. Problem solving skills: When you see a problem, you work hard and think out of the box until you fix it. Data driven attitude: Capable of running analysis and/or understanding data and transforming it into relevant insights. Project Management: Good organization & time management skills. Highly autonomous: Able to work with minimal oversight. Strong presentation skills (written and oral).
