This opportunity is unique with flexibility to make it your own.Health and SafetyEnsuring that the workplace conforms to organisational health and safety systems.Maintain compliance with state and national legislation in all jurisdictions Good Drinks Australia operates.Develop and maintain all health and safety management systems to comply with ISO45001.Identifying hazards, assessing risks to health and safety and developing appropriate safety controls in place.Providing advice on accident prevention and work health and safety management to employees.Procure and ensure personal protective equipment is being used according to design and Australian standards.Manage all chemicals, hazardous and dangerous goods and ensure compliance with storage and handling requirements.Recording and reporting hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues within the workplace.Reporting of all health and safety data for analysis and reporting for all areas of the business.Assisting with the investigation of accidents and unsafe working conditions, investigate possible causes and recommend remedial action.Handle injury management processes and assist with rehabilitation of workers after accidents or injuries and making sure they experience a satisfactory return to work.Co-ordinating emergency procedures, firefighting and first aid crews.Work with external contractors to meet health hazards and hygiene monitoring when required.Audit health and safety systems to ensure compliance to ISO 45001 and internal policies and procedures.Liaise with government regulatory bodies and insurance assessors.TrainingCreate and deliver training packages to meet requirements identified in risk assessments and risk profiles of the businesses controlled by Good Drinks Australia.Maintain currency for employees and organise external training through approved training organisations.Maintain all training records and registers to ensure qualifications are current and relevant for the role of each employee.OtherFulfilling all the requirements of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Control Point), WQA (Woolworths Quality Assurance) and HSE (Health Safety and Environment) systems, as required for this position.Skills and Experiences:Certificate Qualification2+ years in a similar roleExperience in heavy industry, construction, process or similar industriesAudited and maintained health and safety systemsSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Part-timeJob function: Management and ManufacturingIndustries: Food and Beverage Services
