Part-Time Financial Controller

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a part-time Financial Controller for approx 10 hours per week, who will be responsible for the overall financial health and performance of the organisation. This role involves managing the budget, analysing financial data, mitigating risks, overseeing accounting operations, and providing financial support to projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and a proven track record in financial management. This is a part-time, in-office position R250 per hour.Responsibilities:Managing the organisation's budget and ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectivelyMonitoring and analysing financial performance and providing regular financial reports to senior managementIdentifying and mitigating financial risksOverseeing accounting and financial reporting activitiesDelivering project budgetsBridging the communication and project administration gap between Finance and OperationsEnsuring project documentation is completedRequirements:Relevant finance qualification will be advantageous but not essential. Experience is more requiredExcel, Microsoft Office, Smart Edge, Cloud Accounting software experienceStrong understanding of financial principles and accounting standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentBenefits:This is a part-time, in-office position - approx 10 hours of work per week.
