Employer DescriptionOffers fire and safety, risk management, and Electronic Security solutions.Job DescriptionYour duties will encompass:Obtaining quotes from the Approved Suppliers and comparing prices and delivery dates.Purchasing goods, materials, or components in line with specified quality and delivery targets.Signing for the goods received after verifying against the Purchase Order.Raising a Goods Receive note in the System.Contacting suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.Communicating delivery dates and any supply problems which may impact business operations.Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of self, staff, and visitors.Testing equipment returned from sites to establish what can still be used by the business.Repairing equipment where possible that is returned as faulty.Conducting stock takes.Issuing stock.Receiving stock from Suppliers.Receiving stock back from sites.Assisting the IT Department when it is not busy with setting up computers and other basic tasks.Being fully responsible for all stock losses as the stock is locked away under your care.QualificationsMatric.Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain.SkillsMinimum 5 years' experience in Procurement and Warehouse Supervisor.Security industry experience.Proficient in MS Office and Navision.
