Employer DescriptionCompany specializes in residential property development and construction services.Job DescriptionYour duties will encompass:Tracking and manage the inventory of materials and equipment on site, and coordinate with thesite managers and contractors to avoid shortages or delays.Manage suppliers internationally and handle Import process.Review and approve invoices and payments, and resolve any issues or disputes with thesuppliers.Evaluate and monitor the performance and quality of the suppliers, and provide feedbackand recommendations for improvement.Keep accurate and updated records of orders, deliveries, payments, and supplier evaluations.Follow the companys policies and procedures, and adhere to the health and safetyregulations and standards.Research and identify potential suppliers of materials, equipment, and services forconstruction projects.Request and compare quotations, specifications, and delivery terms from various suppliers.Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers, ensuring compliance with the project budgetand specifications.Place orders and confirm delivery dates, quantities, and quality of the purchased items.Maintains records of orders, invoices, and payments, and monitors the quality and performance of the suppliers.QualificationsDegree in procurement, supply chain management, engineering, or related field.SkillsA minimum of 5 years of experience as a purchaser/buyer in construction.Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced on Excel.Knowledge of the construction materials, equipment, and services market and suppliers.Work experience in hospitality and solar procurement is advantageousA valid driver''''s license and own transport.
