Our client, a leader in the cement industry, is looking for a dedicated and skilled supervisor to manage the packing operations within their facility.
The Packing Plant Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packed efficiently and meet the company's quality standards.
Responsibilities Supervise and lead the packing team to ensure efficient operationsMonitor production processes and make adjustments as necessaryEnsure compliance with quality control standardsReport breakdowns that could result in stoppagesCoordinate daily packing activities and schedulesManage SHEQ incentivesTrain and develop team members to enhance skills and productivityImplement and maintain safety protocols within the packing areaCollaborate with other departments to achieve production goalsMaintain accurate records of production activities Requirements Matric (Grade 12) and a recognized trade test (minimum of NTC 4 as a Millwright, ideally working towards completing N5 Diploma).Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in heavy industry engineering, particularly in a packing plant environment.Experience with SAP and basic computer literacy.Strong business communication and numeracy skills.
