Our client, a leader in the cement industry, is looking for a dedicated and skilled supervisor to manage the packing operations within their facility.
The Packing Plant Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packed efficiently and meet the company's quality standards.
Responsibilities Supervise and lead the packing team to ensure efficient operationsMonitor production processes and make adjustments as necessaryEnsure compliance with quality control standardsReport breakdowns that could result in stoppagesCoordinate daily packing activities and schedulesManage SHEQ incentivesTrain and develop team members to enhance skills and productivityImplement and maintain safety protocols within the packing areaCollaborate with other departments to achieve production goalsMaintain accurate records of production activities Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a heavy industrial engineering environmentStrong knowledge of packing processes and equipmentMatric and recognised trade test – Preferably Millwright studying towards NQF 6Excellent leadership and team management skillsSAP knowledgeStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of safety regulations and quality control standardsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenRelevant qualifications in production management or a related field are preferred Contact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.
