Our client a well-known fruit grower and packer, located near Wolseley has an opportunity available for an energetic and dynamic Packhouse Operations Co-Ordinator KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:Quality Management – Ensure product is packed according to required specifications.Productivity – Ensure productivity is at required standard, with continual improvement.Packaging material – Ensure the correct packaging material is always available.Customer orders – Distribute packing program, with priorities both in volume and order deadlines.Cold stores – Tunnel cooling managed correctly and efficiently, oversee and keeping record of cold storage temperaturesAdministration – Oversee and manage all administration done by administration team.
Ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolves discrepancies in pack outs.
Alle reports accurate and available by deadline.Finance – Proper record keeping, Pre-season costing, sourcing from suppliers, budget forcastingCommunication – All communication with supervisory team, HR Department and Production Managers to be clear, concise and timeous.Logistics – Ensure all logistics, including incoming fruit, packaging and dispatched product, is undertaken in the most optimal and cost-effective manner, always using best routes.Personnel Management – Proactive staff management and supervision.

REQUIREMENTS: At least 3 years' experience in a fruit Packhouse environment.Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends.Must have excellent people- and communication skills.Must be result-driven.Working knowledge and a passion for personnel management.Computer skills.Must be able to work pro-actively, with attention to detail.
