The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the packing process, ensuring the quality and efficiency of operations, and leading a team of packhouse workers.
Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the fruit packing facility, including receiving, sorting, grading, packing, and shipping of fruit - Ensure that all packing processes are carried out efficiently and effectively to meet production targets - Monitor and maintain high standards of quality control for all packed fruit - Manage inventory levels and ensure timely production and shipment of packed fruit - Develop and implement standard operating procedures for packing processes - Lead, train, and supervise a team of packhouse workers to ensure a smooth and productive operation - Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations - Collaborate with other departments such as production, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth operations - Monitor and control expenses within the packhouse budget If you are a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for fruit packing operations, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
