Nautilus Pharma is recruiting for a Packaging Buyer! The Packaging Buyer will be responsible for the procurement of packaging materials specific to Nautilus Pharma and involves negotiating and managing supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for packaging materials (blister packs, bottles, cartons, etc.).
Monitor stock levels and forecast future requirements with production and planning teams.
Ensure all packaging materials meet the relevant GMP standards.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs to meet company quality standards.
Evaluate and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
Develop and maintain a database of approved packaging suppliers.
Work closely with product development, production, and logistics to align packaging with production needs.
Stay updated on packaging trends, technologies, and innovations in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ensure staff are trained, equipped, and motivated through effective management processes.
Requirements:
Relevant Bachelor's degree or certification (e.g., CIPS, APICS).
5 years procurement experience, focusing on packaging materials in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sectors.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packaging regulations (GMP) and familiarity with various materials.
