PURPOSE OF JOBOur client is looking for a young, energetic and driven individual to assist the Service Manager to maintain high service levels by ensuring efficient and effective distribution of technicians to repairs, services, deliveries or installations at customer sites.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Enable the service manager to focus on other service related issues for example service complaints by handling all incoming calls logged and logging them onto SCM and then arranging ETA from technicians and relaying the information to the customers/helpdesk.Logging off calls with helpdesk as well as SCM.Plans Technicians' workday, together with Service Manager, around service calls, label deliveries, tasks logged etc. (plan today for tomorrow)Plan Technicians workday around service calls logged with regards to ETA's and making sure technicians keep to the ETA's supplied.Escalate issues beyond the PA's control to the service managerLiaise with the telesales lady to tie up label deliveries together with service call in the same area.Compiling checklists and photos and sending them to helpdesk.In compliance with Teraoka's Quality system acts as Implementation Officer and ensures that the quality system is in order together with my Approving Officer to maintain a standard with regards to the verification work performed by the Verification Officers.Assist in ordering spares from time to time when my service manager can't.Prepares quotes on spares for customers on request.Following up on quotations to try get order numbers etc.Managing office paper work with regards to issuing Verification books etc. to the technicians and checking that paperwork is handed in on a regular basis.Arranging dates for the labs weights to be calibrated as well as customers weights.Courtesy calls to service related clients making sure all clients are happy.Assists with admin training of Technicians as required (Jobcards, Verifications, etc.)Compiling technicians monthly sales reports (turnover) with admin person.In compliance with the Trade Metrology Act, acts as Approving Officer and ensures compliance to the Legal Metrology Quality System.Escalates to Service Manager when Technicians' will possibly miss SLA.PEOPLE MANAGEMENTEnsures that all technicians complete their calls within SLA's and meet their ETA'sSupervisory ResponsibilitiesSupervises between 6-12 staff, depending on the size of the branch.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Minimum 4-5 years relevant technical experience.Certified as Verification Officer.Minimum 2 years' experience on the relevant\branch/company operations/proceduresQualified as Implementation Officer.Need to be strong willed to handle the technicians at times, good communication skills.Need to also be able to handle pressure and multitask.A basic knowledge on Teraoka's scale models and stock codes to be able to prepare quotations and place orders when needed.Must be prepared to go the extra mile, has to put in team effort.Kindly note that if we do not contact you within 14 days, kindly consider your application as unsuccessful.Desired SkillsVerification officer implementation officerPATechnicalDesired Work Experience2 to 5 yearsDesired Qualification LevelCertificate
