What are we looking for? We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and/or skillsets:
The successful candidate will need to be flexible, have good organisational and interpersonal skills with an exemplary work ethic, drive, and attention to detail. They must be proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel to accommodate the scope of duties required. The position reports to the Executive Head and Head of High School and works in collaboration with the academic staff.
Commitment to the school's ethos, values and vision are essential. This position is a full-time, permanent position. Curro Hillcrest has a strong Christian foundation, and the successful candidate must be willing to promote and support this foundation.
General Duties
Keep and maintain the Executive Head's diary and appointments.
Attend to all administrative work required by the Executive Head.
Type up and/or edit and send out correspondence/newsletters for the Executive Head.
Assist in reception when the Receptionist is unavailable.
Chronic medication dispensing – forms/letters and holding of medication.
Admissions
Administer the application process, processing all new enrolments onto the school administrative system, including the digital uploading of all learners, following up on all enquiries and arranging all benchmarking tests for new learners.
Administer the scholarship process.
Forward transfer cards and files for learners who have transferred to other schools.
Place all new and present learners in classes, connect groups and sports houses in liaison with Head of Academics, PA to the Head of High School and Head of Sport.
Book appointments for all prospective pupils and parents.
Assist Marketer
Uploading and following up on all new leads.
Assist at events and other marketing functions, where necessary.
SA-SAMS
All duties pertaining to SA-SAMS will be for all three phases of the whole school.
Loading & maintaining of learners and staff, including the end of term deployment and end of year roll over.
The successful candidate is required to undertake any other reasonable tasks that the Executive Head of the School determines. Whilst every effort has been made to explain the main duties and responsibilities of the post, each individual responsibility undertaken may not be identified. The duties outlined above are not intended as a restrictive list and may be extended or altered to include other tasks that are appropriate with the role.
The successful candidate will start on 01 January 2025.
