We are searching for a confident, presentable and energetic assistant to the Director of Marketing and Buying Category Manager.
The successful person will be young and able to put on various hats within the role and can be flexible to manage a busy schedule.
Must be fluent in Afrikaans, all conversations and interviews will be in Afrikaans.
Requirement: Matric Must be Afrikaans.
Relevant Studies will be an advantage.
Min of 3 – 5 years of PA/Administrative experience.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
Excellent in time management.
Responsibilities: Monitor manager's email and letters, and respond as necessary.
Prepare communications on behalf of the manager.
Answer phone calls, take detailed messages, and make phone calls on behalf of the manager.
Prepare and reconcile monthly marketing expenses.
Present and review monthly marketing expenses with the manager, and follow up on corrections with finance.
Prepare monthly marketing reports containing various statistics and figures.
Answer, filter, or forward all marketing-related inquiries and view various marketing campaign catalogues, including price checks, spell checks, and product photo checks.
Plan travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
Organize and plan meetings, and book boardrooms using Outlook.
Take notes and write minutes during meetings when requested.
Conduct or prepare any necessary research on given topics for the reporting manager.
Handle various ad hoc requests efficiently.
Assist with daily time management tasks.
Reconcile and submit company credit card expenses on a monthly basis.
Travel to stores to collect or purchase goods as needed.
Assist in planning, organizing and attending events such as golf days and other company events.
Running personal errands for the manager such as picking up his daughter from school when needed and any extra mural activities.
Managing all personal administration such as medical aid and Tshwane accounts.
Manage journal requests from stores and verify stock against requests.
Coordinate embroidery and engraving for promotional items or clothing for events or sponsorships.
Research pricing for billboards, street polls, newspaper or magazine inserts, and various other printed or digital marketing platforms.
Arrange and oversee events, including budget preparation and presentation.
Assist with everyday merchandising and buying administrative tasks.
Coordinate stock transfers between stores using information supplied by the buyer.
