Job Description We're looking for telesales agents to join the team. Please note, for this role we are only seeking telesales agents who have previous experience in sales.
The role is focused on the solar industry. The role involves calling prospective customers who have expressed interest in purchasing a solar energy system for them home.
You will not make sales on the phone, but rather qualify leads and schedule appointments with sales representatives who attend the customers home to prepare a quote.
You will be trained on and be required to have a baseline knowledge of solar energy systems.
Given you are supporting a client in Australia, you will be required to work night shifts.
This means, you will typically start a shift at 12am (midnight).
Given the inconvenience of the time zone, we arrange free transport for all staff from their homes to our office.
You will be required to live a reasonable distance from our office in Hyde Park to qualify for this free transport. The role commences 13 January with a week of paid training .
Requirements Our ideal candidates have three core requirements Sales experience: Even though this campaign is not hard sales, we expect you to be conversation with customers and be able to overcome objections.
This comes from having a foundational level of sales experience with a minimum of 2 - 3 years in similar roles International experience: Ideally, we want candidates who have experience in working on an international client.
It's important to demonstrate a level of cultural awareness towards our customers in Australia.
That you can learn fast: You will learn about solar technologies and how to properly qualify customers during our paid training program.
How many solar panels, which solar panels, do you need a battery system, what about virtual power plants, how much can I save etc.
We want to see that you can pick these concepts up fast.
