This position is based at our Wessels Mine which represents one of the largest manganese reserves in South Africa.WHAT SOUTH32 OFFER:Eligible employees will receive an employer contribution towards the company-elected retirement fund.South32 will support assistance for part-time studies aligned to role requirements and business needs at accredited institutions to eligible employees.ABOUT THE ROLE:This role is a permanent full-time position.As anOperator Bobcat, you will be responsible to load and transport broken ore material in working faces and plant areas.Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:• Load and transport any other material as per Mine Standard;• Assist with construction and Maintenance of roadways;• Conducting pre starts on the mentioned TMM;• Any other duties that requires the use of the Bobcat;• General housekeeping and upholding of standards;• Instill section 22 and 23 of the mine Health and safety.ABOUT YOU:You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:• Must have a minimum of 1 year working experience in a mining environment;• Applicants must submit the following documents to be considered:• A valid South African ID;• Copies of qualifications;• A brief CV;Qualifications for this role are:• Grade 12 with mathematics;• Mobile equipment license;• Valid drivers license.South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
