Operations TechnicianLocation: Beckton, East London Contract Type: Permanent / Full Time Closing Date: Nov 7th, 2024 Ref: 1489423 We have a new opportunity for an Operations Technician to join our client based in Beckton, ensuring safe, efficient control of operational and maintenance activities associated with the installed plant.
This is a permanent role with an attractive salary and benefits package on offer working for a Company with over 25 years' experience providing operations management, engineering services and energy management solutions.
Responsibilities: Monitoring, inspecting and controlling plant parameters and providing appropriate first line maintenanceInterpret and control plant operations through general plant and data presented via a DCSIdentify, assist and respond effectively to operational demandsProvide plant systems start up and shutdown services and participate in emergency shutdown proceduresIdentify and immediately report plant defects, observations and anomaliesAssist on projects and outage preparationControl raw material offloading including road tanker fuel, oil and UreaRequirements: Time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) in an engineering or process disciplineRelevant experience of working in and contributing to a continuous process / production environmentFirst line maintenanceWorking shifts and to targetsFault finding, route cause analysis, problem solving, data monitoringSafe system of work processes and proceduresPermit to work risk assessments and method statementsIf the Operations Technician role seems a good fit for you, get in touch with us for a chat.
