Operations Specialist

Our client, a leading Asset Management company is looking for an Operations Specialist to join their team. The individual will be responsible for creating an efficient, responsive and process driven operations team. The ideal individual will be a qualified CA(SA) with 2+ years post articles experience within the Financial Services sector. ResponsibilitiesContribute to and promote robust operating procedures across the investment management business to create an efficient, responsive and process driven operations teamImprove business understanding of operations processes and proceduresSet-up and monitor new clients and client transitions across custodiansIncreased and more formal oversight of the operations functions such as formal review of reconciliationsMonitor daily cash and position reconciliations, settlement and corporate actions performed by other team membersOversight of the electronic operations platformsAutomate and standardise processes for the handling of trades and reconciliations at a transactional levelRequirementsQualified CA(SA)Minimum of 2 years post articles experience within the financial services industry (preferably in fund management)Strong communicator and team playerHigh attention to detailPlease note that if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of your application, please consider it as unsuccessful for this particular role.
