National Company based in Cape Town CBD is looking for a Dynamic Operations Officer to join their Energetic Team.This role offers an opportunity to play a vital part in the local energy supply chain, contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction in South Africa's fuel distribution sector.The Operational Officer will oversee the daily operations of fuel product distribution, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant local delivery.
This role involves managing logistics, coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and supervising delivery teams to guarantee timely distribution.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management:Coordinate daily logistics and supply chain operations.Oversee inventory management at local depots.Track fuel stock levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare operational reports, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.Qualifications and Requirements:Education:Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Diploma or degree in Finance beneficial.Experience:Minimum of 5 years in logistics or operational management, preferably in fuel or hazardous materials distribution.Experience managing teams in a high-pressure environment.Skills:Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Excellent knowledge of logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to fuel distribution in South Africa.Strong leadership and communication skills.Competencies:Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and make sound decisions.Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in reporting and compliance.Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively.Communication: Clear and professional interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
