We're looking for… An Operation Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clients' sites, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality.
Who are you? Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Have a strong understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS). What's the role? You will be responsible for: Install, configure, and calibrate hardware components such as cameras, controllers, and access points according to technical specifications and site requirements. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to ensure proper functionality and performance of installed hardware. Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and networking issues, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Collaborate closely with the operations team to integrate hardware systems with software platforms and ensure seamless functionality. Assist in the setup and configuration of networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to support reliable data transmission and communication. Provide technical guidance and support during site upgrades, expansions, and system migrations to minimize disruptions and ensure successful implementation. Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and support continuous improvement initiatives. Site Operations: Oversee the operations team and the day-to-day operations of our sites, ensuring smooth and efficient functionality. Prioritize issue resolution, giving precedence to critical and larger sites. Drive site performance optimization alongside development and Operations teams. Project Management (Installations) Ensure all projects are completed on schedule or ahead of schedule, meeting quality and budgetary requirements. Build and nurture relationships with installers and technicians for potential business expansion and future projects. Oversee hardware setup, including cameras, controllers, and related equipment. Ensure the overall quality of installations is consistently maintained. Manage hardware stock to ensure availability for maintenance and expansion needs. Track and maintain inventory records. Stay informed about technology advancements and industry trends. Develop and implement user training programs to ensure clients, tenants, and parking operators are well-versed in utilizing our services. Encourage client, tenant, and parking operator engagement with our platform, promoting usage, user adoption, and satisfaction. Promote the company as the preferred access method to clients and operators, attaining ample on-site marketing opportunities and pushing collaborations for on-site activations and advertising to boost usage. Proactively present clients, tenants, and operators with the opportunity to explore new features, including tenant and visitor parking, bay booking, marketplace access, parking incentives (vouchers, promotions), and integrations. Boxes to tick… Matric Relevant certifications Hikvision hardware experience - advantageous Own vehicle and tools - advantageous Proficiency in hardware installation, configuration, and calibration techniques. Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for hardware and network troubleshooting.
