Operations Manager (Manufacturing)

Minimum requirements: Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related fieldAdvanced degrees or industry certifications are a plus10 - 15 Years experience in a senior management role overseeing all facets of a manufacturing site, with a strong emphasis on production management, application of measurement tools, and disciplined process implementationExperience overseeing inbound logistics and outbound logisticsExperience implementing and working with warehouse management systems and tools warehouse layout, stacking, barcoding and scanning, binning, traceabilityQuality system compliance (ISO 9000, FSSC 22000) and other certification bodies (FSC, PEFC, Fibre Circle, CGSO)Sound knowledge of the Labour relations Act, negotiating and dealing with employee unionsResponsible for on-site administration functions (creditors, month end reporting, annual BBBEE/EE reports, annual budget, annual audit prep, BOMs, procedures and policies, Supplier SLAs)Computer literate in MS Office, SYSPRO, ShopWare and DataScopeValid drivers license and own reliable transportation Consultant: Gillian Ngwenyama - Dante Personnel Mpumalanga
