Factory Operations Manager - Printing and Packaging

Job Overview:
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the printing and packaging facility. This role ensures that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and meet quality standards. The manager coordinates with various departments, manages staff, and ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Production Oversight: Manage the entire production process, ensuring timely and efficient output.
Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Team Management: Lead, train, and supervise the production team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Scheduling: Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and supplies.
Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and services.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Client Interaction: Meet with clients to discuss their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Process Improvement: Implement and maintain efficient workflows and processes, staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in an operations management role within the printing and packaging industry.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of printing and packaging technologies and processes.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with production management software and inventory management systems
