What you will do: Manage and oversee the business development department, including performance accountability and financial growthLead a team of five dedicated employees, fostering collaboration and individual developmentDrive both operational and strategic initiatives to achieve departmental and company-wide goalsReport directly to the Head of Business Development, providing insights and recommendations for business improvementUtilise your problem-solving abilities and solution-oriented mindset to overcome challenges and capitalise on opportunitiesMaintain a strong focus on multiple departmental priorities while ensuring alignment with the company's overarching objectivesCultivate and manage relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders, resolving disputes diplomatically and effectivelyConduct management reporting and data analysis, leveraging your proficiency in Excel and other reporting toolsEnsure the team's adherence to sales targets and goals, motivating them to achieve successHandle all HR matters related to the department and its employeesWhat you must have: Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the digital marketing industryProven track record in a management position, with strong leadership and decision-making skillsExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyDeep understanding of business operations and strategic planningPassion for working with people and leading a team to successHigh level of proficiency in Excel and data analysisStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships effectivelySelf-motivated, independent worker with respect for authorityDriven by goals and targets, with a keen understanding of how your department contributes to overall business successPrevious experience managing a team is essential
