With a strong commitment to excellence, their team of skilled professionals leverages to design, manufacture, and install complex industrial solutions that meet the highest standards of precision and durability.We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our industrial division.Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership, direction and overall managementIdentify business opportunities within the industrial sectorLiaise with clients and execution teams regarding scope of businessPrepare annual budgets and strategic plans and ensure effective control thereofReview financial forecasts and report on variancesCo-ordinate activities of several alternatives concurrently across business boundariesGuide operational issues, monitor progress and make necessary adaptationsProvide direction on both tactical- and operational implicationsPerform duties and responsibilities as specified by Managing DirectorEnsure good governance of business unitManage and motivate a competent supervisory teamProactively work with marketing teams to secure work for the unitEnsure that operations, logistics, safety, procurement, marketing and human resource issues are supported and co-ordinatedSupport and ensure a positive and dynamic culture exist in the unitQualifications:10+ years of management experience, with at least 4 years at a senior level in an industrial environmentRelevant level B degree (e.g., engineering, Business Administration)In-depth knowledge of industry principles, techniques and practicesStrong planning, organizing and directing skillsDynamic drive and results orientationExcellent financial planning, understanding and strategic management skillsAbility to foster strong internal and external relationshipsNegotiable based on experience, qualifications and current remuneration (R900 000 – R1 million p.a)
