PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Be responsible for managing the Cape Town branch and all operations related. Act as a focal point for customer problems, questions, or concerns for the branch.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: To Manage and co-ordinate logistics activities for the successful execution of the business plan from order placement to client delivery and management of inventory levels, while optimizing logistics flows. Manage and evaluate all daily operations of the branch. Make sure that all drivers are on route and monitor driving behaviour Fleet Management Ensure that all deliveries arrive on schedule Ensure that all collections are booked and collected on time Make sure that all staff are well managed and monitor Do performance measurements for staff Do Weekly/Monthly reports for the Operations Director Responsible for training staff
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE Minimum Matric & 4-5 years related experience in a similar role Relevant tertiary qualification Good knowledge of courier track and trace system
SPECIALSKILLS/ COMPETENCIES A valid driver's license Team player Good computer and communication skills Must be a quick thinker when problems arise Good oral and written communication skills Leadership traits, organization, time-management skills. Good Geographical Knowledge
