About the roleOversee daily farm operations, from cultivating to harvesting crops.
Schedule repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
Monitor and resolve any health and safety concerns on the farm.
Supervise a team of workers, ensuring activities run smoothly and efficiently.Responsibilities Oversee daily farm operations to ensure productivity and efficiency.
Implement farming practices and techniques to enhance crop yield and livestock health.Develop and manage the farms budget, monitor expenditures, and optimize financial performance.
Handle financial records, prepare reports, and analyze data to inform business decisions.Recruit, train, and supervise farm staff.
Negotiate contracts and set prices for products.Manage relationships with buyers, distributors, and suppliers.Develop long-term plans for farm development and expansion.Ensure the farm complies with environmental regulations and sustainable practices.
